Salem Zeglam

A highly accomplished petroleum industry consultant and former senior executive with more than five decades of international experience in reservoir engineering, production planning, field development, petroleum economics, and upstream project evaluation. Brings extensive expertise across oil and gas operations, reservoir management, gas utilization planning, feasibility studies, and corporate planning, with a strong track record of supporting national oil companies and major international operators.

Has held multiple senior leadership roles in Libya, including Reservoir Engineering Department Manager, Technical Adviser to the National Oil Corporation, and head of major planning, production, and petroleum engineering functions at Sirte Oil Company. Managed multidisciplinary teams across reservoir engineering, petroleum engineering, development geology, project follow-up, maintenance, and operations, with responsibility for large-scale upstream production and gas development activities.

Since 2003, has worked as an Independent Petroleum Consultant, collaborating with the National Oil Corporation and major oil companies on consultancy, training, and feasibility studies. Has developed and delivered specialized courses in Petroleum Economics and Risk Analysis for both Libyan and international oil and gas professionals.
