Career synopsis

Abdelmalek is a geologist with circa 20 years industry experience across the Middle East and North Africa carbonate and clastic reservoirs, and a particular interest in carbonate depositional systems, sequence stratigraphy, diagenetic processes, reservoir characterization, and training provision. A proven track-record of conducting geological projects across various conventional and unconventional hydrocarbon reservoirs providing sedimentological, sequence stratigraphic, petrographic and reservoir quality evaluations and integrating seismic, petrophysical, and reservoir data for clients in support of their exploration, appraisal and field development activities as well as providing input to their reservoir geological models.
