To create a material, select the "Add Course" function in the "My Courses" section.
In the "My Courses," "My Articles," "My Tests," and "My Documents" sections, you will find your documents, tests, articles, and courses, which are in statuses such as draft, under review, paused, published, or expert-approved.
If you decide to create an educational program, you need to determine whether you are creating a new program of your own or if you want to copy an existing one from the Technical Education Academy.
What is the difference between a ready-made educational program and a new one?
A ready-made program from the Technical Education Academy is a standard program developed by technical experts and methodologists. In this program, you cannot change the structure of the modules and lessons, but you are free to choose the content.
If you are creating your own custom training program, you need to:
- Create a title that reflects the main goal and idea of the training.
- Specify the discipline to which this training program will belong.
- Indicate the level of difficulty.
- Specify the language of the training program.
After filling in all the required fields, you can proceed to filling out the "Course Page" by clicking the "Further" button.
After that, the Publication Progress page will open.
Course Page
First, fill in the basic information about the course, as well as additional details:
- Course description
- Learning objectives
- Requirements for students' education, experience, and health (if applicable)
- Target audience that will benefit from the training program
- Upload an appropriate image that will serve as the promotional cover for your training program.
This page will be available to all potential clients after the course is approved, so it's important to make it comprehensive and appealing.
Next, proceed to the training program. The course consists of Modules, and a module consists of Lessons. Think ahead about the titles for the Modules and Lessons.
You don't have to enter all the course information at once, as this can be time-consuming.
The platform allows you to save all the information you've entered, and when you reopen it, you can continue from where you left off.
Training Program
In this section, you need to create the main structure of all modules and lessons (content).
According to quality standards, each training program includes Entry and Final testing, based on the results of which the effectiveness and progress of the training will be assessed. These data will also form the basis of the training completion report.
If you already have ready questions for the preliminary/final testing to assess the initial level of students' knowledge, click on "Entry/Final Testing" and add the prepared test from the database.
If you want to start by adding content to the training program right away, click "Add New Module."
Modules are the main chapters of your course. Each module consists of lessons. All educational materials are added to the lessons. Therefore, you need to create the structure of modules and lessons that make up your training program.
Write the module title, save the changes, and add the lessons that are included in this module, then proceed to the next module.
To add educational material to each lesson, click "Add Slides." Then, you can choose the slide layout that best fits your idea.
Examples of slides are described below:
A layout is a set of placeholders for presenting content on a slide.
Placeholders are forms for inserting text, images, and videos.
Thus, the layout determines which objects will be presented on the slide and how they are arranged.
Below are the layouts available in the Creative Studio on the platform:

If you want students taking your course to complete any laboratory assignments, such as calculations, essays, etc., during their training, use the functionality provided. |
Using the slide builder, transfer all the lesson material as well as additional materials, such as:
- Audio files
- Add a file (e.g., Word or PDF file)
- A link to some content
- Text
- Add a text comment
Adding various multimedia content, as well as tests and assignments to lessons, will make your course interesting and engaging.
After you have added all the educational material to your program, you have the option to view it as it will be available to students. To do this, go to the "Preview" tab.
Preview
Carefully review all sections and content of your training programs.
In the "Course outline" section, you will also have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the detailed content of your program, down to each slide.
If you are satisfied and ready to publish your training program, proceed to the next step, "Set a Price," to specify the cost. This is also available in the "Preview" stage, along with "Authorship" and "Copyright".
You can set a base price for self-paced learning of your program and indicate whether your program was developed independently or in collaboration with others.
