A highly experienced Process Operations Engineer and professional trainer with more than 20 years of expertise in the oil and gas industry, specializing in process operations, process safety, and competency-based training. Holds a PhD in Chemistry, with research focused on the removal of CO₂ and H₂S from natural gas, and brings extensive experience in delivering both classroom-based and on-the-job training programs to develop operator competence in oil and gas production, separation, desalting, dehydration, and gas treatment processes.

Possesses strong technical expertise across a broad range of upstream and downstream operations, including desalter and dehydrator systems, with practical knowledge of dual-frequency technology for crude oil desalting and dehydration. Additional areas of expertise include oil and gas separation, stabilization, and desalting; condensate and LPG production and storage; gas compression, boosting, and dehydration using TEG and MEG systems; CO₂ capture and removal using amine solutions such as MEA and DEA; utility systems including nitrogen, oxygen, and power generation; and the operation, start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting of both rotating and static equipment.

Has solid experience in process control and automation systems, including Yokogawa, Mark V, Mark VI, and SCADA platforms. As a certified technical instructor holding a University Teaching Certificate, has delivered a wide range of competency-based training programs covering topics such as P&ID interpretation, process simulation using Aspen HYSYS, HAZOP studies, and industrial safety procedures. Also experienced in operator competency assessment, knowledge gap analysis, and the design and administration of pre-assessments, post-assessments, and final evaluations.

In addition to training responsibilities, has participated in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, supervised plant operations during start-up and shutdown phases, and coordinated cross-functional teams to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production facilities. Maintains a strong commitment to process safety and HSE standards, ensuring that all training programs align with recognized industry requirements and best practices.
