My research interests focus on:-
1. Integrated stratigraphy (lithostratigraphy, Biostratigraphy, Chronostratigraphy, sequence stratigraphy, Tectonostratigraphic, Paleoenvironemnts, basin analysis).
2. Regional geology of Kurdistan (Exploration ; Geological survey and investigations)
3. Kurdistan foreland basin, generation and developments.-Cretaceous, Cenozoic Sequence -bio and Tectonostratigraphy.
4. Cretaceous and Paleogene carbonates characterizations.
5. Cretaceous and Paleogene foraminifera
6. Upper cretaceous large benthic foraminifera and Loftusia assemblage and evolution groups in the Maastrichtian green Kurdistan foreland basin
7. Discoveries of new species of large foraminifera from the Maastrichtian of Kurdistan.
My activities
 More than seventy publications and reports about regional geology of Kurdistan region. Which includes stratigraphy, biostratigraphy, sequence stratigraphy, tectono-stratigraphy, Foraminiferal biostratigraphy (Large benthic and planktic foraminiferal zonations). Stratigraphy of the Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic of Kurdistan and Iraq. Sedimentology, microfacies and depositional environments. basin analysis
 I work for five years 1998-2003 as consultant for Food and agricultural organizations (FAO-UN) in Iraqi Kurdistan region. We work in water resources (both surface and sub surfaces) department, executes a plan about the Geological and Hydrogeological map of Kurdistan region, and draw the geological and hydrogeological map of Sulaimani and Kurdistan region. Accordingly, first geological and Hydrological map of Kurdistan region finalized with 16 Hydrogeological basins characteristics .Drilling of several new aquifers with high discharge (50l/s) in Kurdistan like Swerala, Qaradagh District. Swerala in Koya . Halabja Kalar Chamchamal and Koya ...etc. and we drill more than 200 wells in Garmain region for domestic and livestock. Accordingly, several geological and hydrogeological reports introduced by FAO /UN agency have been issued and acts ad basic building block for further researches and works in Kurdistan, and used by several oil companies as useful references.
 We work in a cooperation program our department and department of solid materials, in 2008-2012' university of Uppsala, Sweden. The results 7 seven published papers and two PhD Thesis.
 Participates in the discussion commits of 25 M.Sc. and Ph.D. Student inside and outside Iraq
 I supervised 10 students in different university outside Iraq (in Gubkin university- Russia, in Bergen university, - Norway, In Leeds and Cardiff Universities in UK.
 Also, I Participates in Mawat Ophiolite's (Cupper -Chromite’s Ore Deposits project )
 Detail geological survey for Pb-Zn-Barite ore Deposits, north Zakho.
 My Interest in Kurdistan foreland basin generation and developments, with special attentions to Rudist bearing carbonates, also in the Oligocene-Miocene reservoirs.
 I work in the geological survey of Iraq for more than seven years in different project in two department, Department of geological survey and department of Paleontology. Project cover several geological sectors among the detail geological survey for native Sulphur South Mosul. Detail geological Survey for Pb-Zn and Barite deposits from the Ora Imbricated zone. Zakho area, Dhouk, Iraqi Kurdistan region. Detail geological survey, for site section for dams. Detail geological survey for Cupper deposits in Mawat Ophiolites. Detail geological survey for electric power station. Multipurpose geological survey.
 As pioneer project during 2008- 2009 in collaboration between our university and TAQ TAQ oil co, through sponsoring three MSc student projects (FUNDS OF 100000$).
 Nominate and candidate of more than 10 student for M.Sc. PhD fellowships outside Kurdistan!
 I work as a consultant for several oil companies since 2007 up to 2020 as stratigrapher.

 I also supervised several important cooperation project with private sector, through college of science consultancy agreement.
