Offshore Interface Manager

Purpose: 

To plan, manage and supervise the interfaces within field works for the EP Offshore Project. 

Accountabilities and Responsibilities: 

  • Managing all the interfaces for the EP Offshore areas of responsibility (offshore facilities, offshore installation hook-up and commissioning, offshore islands and drilling, offshore pipeline). 

  • Managing interface with offshore logistics area, internal to EP, transport and delivery of all items (manifolds, LER, test separator, fuel gas skid, launch/receiver skids) to offshore field. 

  • Maintaining a constant and proactive relationship with the area managers to find and propose alternatives for unexpected events (the impossibility to modify the local schedule or having late changes from engineering, late item delivery). Where possible, forecast potential issues to ensure adequate, timely preparation, ensuring suitable measures and actions are taken to avoid any negative impact in the integrated plan. Management of the various provisional certificates between original yard, transportation contractor, inshore work yard, installation Contractor, practically, due to the contract strategy, for all items. 

  • Ensuring that all works and activities are performed in compliance with Project technical specification and HSE company requirements, particularly relating to minimizing the risks during SIMOPS, that will be deeply investigated in conjunction with QRA and ALARP analysis. 

  • Improving communication, monitoring progress through inspections and internal audits, promoting increased knowledge of HSE procedures.

  • Corporate Health, Safety & Environment Policy, and applying company Safety Management Systems.

Company: 

  • Offshore Area Managers (Offshore Facilities, Offshore Installation Hook-up and Commissioning, Offshore Islands and Drilling, Pipeline, Offshore Logistic). 

  • Supply Material Management Manager. 

  • District Project Manager and District Operation Manager. 

  • Head of HSE Project Manager. 

  • Offshore Project Service Manager. 

  • Commissioning Manager. 

  • Drilling Operation Manager. 

External: 

All Construction and Offshore Contractors. (TB construction, PR construction, Inshore works, Pipeline, Installation Piles and Flares, Hook-up and Commissioning), Contacting local HSE authorities. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Engineering degree. 

  • Minimum 20 years of working experience in oil and gas industry onshore and offshore. 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience with offshore installation operations. 

  • Prior experience in similar major complex project is beneficial. 

Required Competencies: 

  • Very good knowledge of construction, installation and hook up works practice. 

  • Good understanding and knowledge of Planning and Project Management. 

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to understand, interpret and explain the documentation.
