EP Offshore Logistics Supervisor

Purpose: 

To assist with the planning and preparation of Logistics Support. Provide all aspects of project operational logistics issues and routine activities. 

Accountabilities and Responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring Logistics HSE Guidance is applied when developing and implementing Logistics Solutions. 

  • Assisting EP Offshore Projects to liaise between Contractors and Local Government, Local Authorities. 

  • Assisting EP Offshore Projects to liaise between Contractors and Local Contractors and/or Sub-Contractors in all areas. 

  • Providing national liaison to ensure the necessary resources are available to meet the EP Offshore Project requirements in all subjects related to Offshore and Marine issues. 

  • Developing Expatriate awareness and integration on all matters relevant to EP Offshore Project operations. 

  • Overseeing safe and timely coordination of transportation activities of Project, Contractors and Service Companies personnel and material between the logistic bases and production facilities offshore. 

  • Assisting EP Offshore in all matters relating to safe and environmentally friendly disposal of waste and excess material in compliance with Companies Policy. 

  • Providing custom guidance and help with the timely release subject to operational needs of imported goods and exportation of materials. 

Safety Responsibilities: 

  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment, by abiding by Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations. 

  • Corporate Health, Safety & Environment Policy, and applying company Safety Management Systems. 

Main Interfaces: 

Company: 

Liaison with Project, corporate and District Logistics Personnel and services, EP Project management team. 

External: 

Liaison with Regulatory and Government Authority (Customs, Ports Authorities, Frontier Guards). 

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Minimum of the University degree level. 

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry requirements. 

  • Experience in site material and equipment organization. 

  • Experience of liaising with and organising variety of contractors and vendors. 

  • Knowledge of Materials/Equipment specific to the Oil and Gas Industry, Materials Management, Supply Chain process and local/international custom laws. 

  • Computer literate. 

Required Competencies: 

  • Good communication skills, both oral and written. 

  • Ability to work in team environments, communicate, understand and work within the dynamics of a multi-functional and multi-location environment. 

  • Strong commitment to safety and ability to educate and persuade personnel to adopt safety rules. 

  • Team and self-motivation skills.
